가격이 싸서 갔어요
가격은 쌌지만.. 시설은 너무 불편했어요.. 화장실을 같이 써야했고, 방음도 안되었고.. 문도 허술해서 먼가 불안했어요.. 남자들끼리의 여행이라면 돈도 아낄겸 주변 배경은 매우 좋아요. 여자들끼리라면 너무 위험할꺼같아요..

Charming pub stay. The staff let us check in early which was nice. The food was excellent downstairs at the pub. A lovely beer garden overlooking the Clarence River and the water dragons were very polite.

It’s nice to check In in this hotel to commemorate every details of the place it’s like your living in the 18th century. I like the details of the balcony and the fire place inside our room was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful the food is yummy.

Lovely Pub!
Yet again, a great place to stay. Comfy bed, clean shower, great food, cold drinks and nice town with a beautiful river. My only criticism is people smoking on the verandah outside of my room late at night and in the morning. That was yuck.

We enjoyed the breakfast provided sitting on the verandah in the morning sun. Great restaurant watching the sunset over the river. Good beds. high ceilings.We stayed in family room 8 again.

The hotel is out of the way, but only 12 minutes from Grafton. The beds were super comfy, the food was sensational. My husband and I shared bangers and mash, and couldn't have eaten more. Fabulous amount of greens! I reckon we'll be back. We don't mind small rooms and sharing bathrooms. The only downside was early noise from adjoining rooms.

Our room was very bright n noisy as it was on the cnr where there were blinds on windows but none on the upper glass in foyer atop stairs. Breakie was sufficient and accomm was painted nice, my mum had a room on verandah but there was no full length mirror in room or anywhere so full length mirrors are a must THANKYOU

It is an old hotel with old style rooms and with shared bathrooms/toilets. Accepting that, the facilities and room were scrupulously clean. Great value for money.

Basic hotel with limited facilities
Ulmarra is a pretty place and it's worth stopping here but this should not be considered a "3 star hotel" based on what is included. We paid $109 for a twin room but this is should be a <$100 hotel. - The room was supposed to include a continental breakfast but no bread was supplied - no toaster was supplied either. Apples, cereal, milk and yoghurt were provided. - There was nowhere to eat breakfast inside the room. There was no room for chairs or table. It was far too cold to eat on the verandah, which had dirty furniture. - The room included a full kettle but the water inside smelled terrible. It is not clear whether the intention was to fill and empty it in the shared bathroom sink. - The room came with lace curtains on the outside window and lacked privacy. No curtains were provided for the window above the door and the room wasn't properly dark due to light in the corridor. - The room was noisy and we could hear conversations and snoring from the other rooms. - The room and the facilities are really outdated, particularly the carpets. The bathroom was adequate but felt institutional with all white tiles and fluorescent lighting. It was difficult to get into the bathroom when others were using the sink. - Prior to check in we wanted to organise a late check in. We called four times and emailed the day before but the "office" is only open at 11am, which wasn't obvious. I was expecting better based on other reviews but feel like I overpaid for the outdated facilities.

Perfect location right on the river .Beautiful old pub . Basic rooms , but so clean and comfortable . Excellent meals in the restaurant . For $85 including breakfast , this a must to stay here. Highly recommended

This was a really nice surprise. I have never stayed above a hotel before. It was very clean and fresh. The building is old with character but the staff were very friendly. Breakfast that is in your room that we ate on the balcony is great when travelling with a family.
