I had such a restful stay and the accommodation was absolutely beautiful— perfect for being immersed in the traditional Hanok atmosphere. The owner was highly responsive and helpful. It was raining and I was able to locate the accommodation and drop off my belongings/check-in earlier than 3 PM without issue. The property itself was peaceful, clean, and well-maintained. Upon booking I was warned about cats, but they added onto the experience. Location was perfect for exploring Hwangnidan-gil and...

Lovely stay! Just a note for future travellers, the courtyard ligh

Fantastic traditional hotel stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Made breakfast every morning for everyone - hot sandwiches, coffee, tea, cut fruit, salad. Very nice place to stay and spotlessly clean. Buildings are traditional Korean and were beautiful. Very nice play to stay near the sights.

A genuine hanok stay. It isn’t a hotel so it’s gonna be different than the conventional expectations. You feel like you’re in a very Korean old timey home. And the hosts were super friendly

It is only three minutes' walk from Gyeongju's most popular place, "Hwangridan-gil," and has provided me with the experience of Korean-style accommodation. The owner was very kind. It was a unique and fun experience for me.

My advice before the review. Caution taking taxis as to make sure they know where this place is located as I had a bad cab experience and got overcharged because my taxi driver had no idea and could not find and I ended up talking the last 7 minutes to get there when it was clear he did not know. However, once I got to the property the owner was so nice and helpful to me. This is a cute place for a hanok stay and super quiet. Lovely serene appearance. Also, it is close to many restaurants and...

Once you passed the gate , you re in the ancient time in Korea.. so authentic. All wooded and beautiful.peaceful courtyard in the middle of a busy neighborhood. Great vintage shops, restaurants, fancy boutique..and traditional shops! Nice eatery open late just few meters away ! Loved it all

Great hotel/guesthouse near Haeundae Beach. Plenty of attractions and restaurants nearby. Also within walking distance from the metro station. The guesthouse facilities are clean and most basic amenities are either provided or offered. The rooms were compact but clean and adequate for a short trip to Busan. The hotel staff alone makes this a 5 star location. The owner/manager and his family go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. I definitely recommend this guesthouse to...

I really enjoyed my stay in Black Canvas. I appreciated the small capacity(only 4 beds), the privacy(having a bed with a curtain), the spaciousness of the room & the bunk itself - besides fiting the matress there was still room next to it to put your things, like a long shelf along your bed (at least for the bottom bed). Also the height of the bed was great, i didnt feel like i slept inside a drawer.A personal light, outlet, a couple hooks & a shelf inside the bunk were also just perfect.The...

The inn was located in an absolutely beautiful part of town, directly across from the main parks and attractions in town. We walked everywhere, and it was a fantastic base from which to see the tombs and parks! There is a ton to see and do here, and there are dozens of restaurants and cafes on the same street as this Hanok. The owner speaks completely fluent english, and the breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, toast and coffee was perfect. The courtyard was a wonderful place to sit snd enjoy the...

The guesthouse location is great, staff is very nice and helpful. The only thing can be improved that shower hot water is not stable.

Great place about 15 minutes walking from the museum, Wolji pond, Cheomseongdae observatory, and the famous lighted bridge. Also, on the streets near Cheomseongdae observatory park are filled with great eating. From Guest House to observatory or lighted bridge: 3500 won for taxi. From the KTX station to the guest house: 15850 won. Room: The sleeping mats are thin and your hips hurt if you're an American over 40. If you can sleep on two, it's okay. Nice hot shower! Peaceful courtyard with a...

1st time staying at a Hostel, had a 4 person room with some friends. The location was great, price was was fantastic, and everything was well maintained. Would highly recommend for someone who wants easy access to a high energy/fun area of the city.

Malik was extremely sweet and kind during our stay here. This is absolutely the best place to stay (especially for foreigners) near Haundae Beach. If I’m blessed to be able to travel back to Busan, I’m only staying here!!!
