It is so sad that a hotel like this in a good area is so terribly let down by the restaurant. From the bad service to the almost burnt food and not getting the bill and being told I could sign and pay on checkout the next morning. Only to be woken by a telephone call at 10PM (being up from 3:30 in the morning) to ask about when I will settle the bill. When I checked out and spoke to the GM about it and eanted to pay, she could not even get them to calculate the bill properly. Only way out is that she said I did not have to pay the bill. So, IF I ever stay at that hotel again, I most certainly will not be eating at their restaurant.

It’s what I expected of Town Lodge really. The accommodation is all good. But the dining experience was pretty poor. The buffet didn’t have the variety one expects of a buffet.

Aircons adjacent to Lodge far too noisy

The hotel was great wrt service, its modern layout/decor and the condition of the rooms, however the street facing room was facing onto a bulding /down from one whose aircon sounded like a fleet of jet engines, it was extremely loud and went on the whole night, so sadly, no sleep or rest was achieved

Stunning time at the Town Lodge.

So my uber driver dropped me at the back entrance .i dont know its the one facing the road by th corner.worst entrance ever sucks.extremely inefficient.hoowever trust Noluthando and Busi to bring back my smile with amaIng customer service.all the staf wS great.from cleaning to restaurant to security.loved my stay thank you very much.

our stay was amazing. the issue was when we checked in we came all the way from Pretoria only to find that our bookings were not done we paid 1st of November 2021. we were told that hotels .com did not send them a voucher for our books we waited for an hour while there where busy trying to fix the problem, and we were told that there were fully booked after an hour they told us that our room was ready.

The rooms were very clean and the hand santizer and handcreams which were in the room came in very handy on the trip. The staff (from the reception, the security guards, the restaurant personnel and the housekeepers) were exceptional! They were all friendly, professional and very helpful. Thank you for a great stay.
