As a couple we found the room adequate for our needs with a good price. Having the bar and it's dining facilities close by was a bonus and staff made us feel most welcome which made for a pleasant stay.

Price & location.

Location for 2 nights was good.Easu drive to Ulverstone & Penguin. Woolworths across the road. Is hotel/motel. Rooms basic, shower good. Arrived late from ferry. Had toasties which were welcome. Had evening meal in hotel on 2nd night & was good. Large serves.

The rooms are to the side of a gambling place. My room, while looking a bit dated, was comfortable and quiet. Run the risk of noisy people outside, but for me it was fine and quiet and an easy stay for one night
