"Check-in process is always a process-shouldn’t take as long as it does. Had an issue with our toilet when we got to the room at end of night. Hadn’t been in room except to drop off bags. Was told by front desk they had no plungers or anything to help. Had to move to diff room…which equaled to total DIFFERENT building which the place is a maze so took forever to find the new room. New room was quite possibly the 1st room ever at the establishment & didn’t seem to have been rented out in the last 6 months… smelled musty, cob webs in corners-RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! Will not be back!!"

"Open while doing construction, but it was quiet and noise didn’t start until we were already up. The place can definitely use a facelift, room was clean but carpet is kinda gross. Limited menu options while doing remodeling, so we ate elsewhere. Parking was a bit challenging, but in fairness, it’s challenging almost everywhere in Deadwood. We’d stay there again once the remodeling is complete."
