The hotel wasn’t that busy but the hotel packed us all in close together which made our stay noisy. We stayed two nights. We were away from the hotel after the first night from about 10am to 9pm. Came back to our room and the bed wasn’t made, the laundry had been removed and a couple clean towels thrown up on the rack, but no washcloths (had to make a trip to the office to get some) and they took the hand soap by the sink so we had no soap to wash our hands. Annoying.

Overall a good place to stay. Continental breakfast was a little displeasing with stale break and industrial eggs being the highlight. Some sausages or fresh muffins and fruits would have been nice to see.

If you pull into McBride expecting a town you will be disappointed. If you pull into this Travelodge and expect a hotel of city quality, you will be caught off guard. But if you can look past the very old, somewhat disheveled front office and be satisfied with a clean, comfortable room for the night, then this hotel will work for you.

Friendly staff
This hotel was built in 1974... so you get what you get and you don't get upset. It is in the process of being freshly painted and the staff was excellent.

Room was adequate for a quick overnight stay. Room was very well appointed and quite modern. Little hard to find the room that was around back but solved fairly quickly.

Everything was fine but the pillows were uncomfortable. Need to be replaced. The juice machine needs to be cleaned as there were many fruit flies on the spout that ended up in my glass at breakfast.

Old, decrepit, expensive property to stay in considering. Other guests were arguing outside and we could hear it all. Breakfast was absolutely disgusting.

Upon arriving, the staff was very nice and greeted me in. They were accommodating to change the room for my family who needed wheelchair accessibility. However, the rooms weren’t so great. It smelt funny, and stains were all over the carpets. The bathroom was so/so. Dust and hair around the baseboards, the shower curtain looked like it used to be white, and the bath mat they left as a option was stuffed behind the toilet and it had black spots on it. The bedding looked good and the furniture is newer, however the curtain in the room smelt musty. By the late evening there was a family who kept running around at 1:00 am yelling and laughing. As a previous host to guests, it would be best to improve the guest experience for future visits. I wouldn’t be inclined to come back.
