“Very nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Breakfast was fine”

“Two of us had to go to Van Buren and I made reservations thru Expedia when I called to let them know we were in town they couldn’t find my reservation when I called back to see if it show up in system lady said she couldn’t reach me and my card declined so she canceled my reservation. I told her that wasn’t possible it showed pending. She said it would come off in a day or two. When we arrived at motel my friend paid and we left next morning. Once I got home I checked my account and payment...

“Staff was great. Good breakfast. Only negative was the bathtub. It wasn’t flat it was curved so you couldn’t stand flat in it and I almost fell. Every thing else was great. Would stay there again.”

“The entire place is pretty run down. The bed was terrible and room had a strange odor. It was supposed to be 2 queen beds but it was 2 full beds. Mold growing on the ceiling near the bathroom. The towels were thin and stained. Also there was no way to deadbolt the door. I let my guard down to save a little money, never again! Whoever has rated this place at even an ok is sadly mistaken! They should be ashamed at charging $90 a night!”

“The room was nice, with plenty of outlets. It had a Keurig with a few pods. Only issue was it's very dark, with dark colored walls. Otherwise, the decor was very pleasing. Breakfast options were very limited and pricey.”

“The room was clean, linens clean. Curtains adequately blocked outside lighting at night. Staff were friendly. Plenty of amenities for taking care of yourself in terms of access to food and refreshments. Grocery and other stores within a couple of minutes' drive. Valet team was one of the best I've experienced. In true casino fashion, the smell of smoke hits you upon entrance, but the hotel part was smoke-free. Elevators were quick. Enjoyed an evening of gaming entertainment during the stay.”

“Had to move rooms a few times. 1st room was full of cigarette smoke smell badly, 2nd room was so moldy and smelled so bad of mold. They did upgrade me to a suite and the staff is super nice. Just was stressful after driving for many hours across county and just wanted to rest”

“Absolutely worst pillows I have ever slept on. There were six and they were all lumpy. Hotel was very loud but I expected that being downtown. Hard to sleep here. I chose it because of the high ratings but should have saved my money and slept at a motel off the highway.”
