"The place was ok, but details said breakfast was included which it wasn’t. When we asked the host he said the 2 dry packs of noodles was “breakfast”. No staff on site most of the day, no housekeeping or toilet paper refills. Room was clean at least and had free laundry machine upstairs, but took several cycles to get dry completely. Not very convenient area and difficult to walk around nearby. "

"First of all the staff in here were amazing. Their customer service are top notch. We went to 5 different cities and stayed in various hotel. Their service was above and beyond. The moment you walked they will greet you with a smile and they always have someone ready by the door to help you open the door or bring your stuff. Each time you get out of the elevator they will greet you as well. Their location is also great! Small issue, the housekeeping can do better job on mopping the floor. On our fourth night we also found some spider on the bed. Breakfast was great and staff also very helpful. We also enjoyed their swimming pool."

"We had a fabulous couple of days at Hotel Du Lac. Best location in the heart of old town with beautiful views of the Cathedral. Special thanks to the breakfast chef. We have stayed in many good hotels across Vietnam but rate breakfasts here as one of the best. From freshly carved Jamon to beautiful yoghurt, fruits and Eggs Hollandaise everything was delicious and good quality. The staff are so nice and friendly - we went to a hidden Pho restaurant popular with locals and bypassing the Insta fads with queues snaking down the street. A beautiful facial at La Maison the inhouse spa rounded off a perfect visit. Highly recommended hotel."
