This stay was excellent! The staff were very accommodating on last minute requests. We booked the morning of our stay and they were so kind and welcoming. The location was perfect, right in the centre of downtown and so close to everything important. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this property.

Clean and modern and centrally loca ted. However. When my son walked down the street to get breakfast, he had several encounters with the homeless folks which made him a little uncomfortable to be alone. Overall, it was a good stay.

Excellent location for downtown. Property still under development, elevator not in use yet. Beautiful bathroom all new. Older building, so floor was not completely level in certain areas. But overall gorgeous older building.

We had a compact room. It was super clean, cozy, and efficient. The only downside was there is no elevator, they did however offer to bring our bags up for us. We chose to carry them but they do offer. Would 100% stay here again.

We liked the way they retained the rustic appeal of the old building with modern upgrades. The washroom was really nice, especially the shower. The floor under the bed was on quite an angle so the bed and side tables were very slanted. We were willing to live with this because of the reasonable price and the location. As long as this hotel keeps their rates low we will keep coming back.

Nice clean and simple property that just opened downtown Vancouver. Value for sure for the one night I needed. Some finishing touches still needed but overall the new bathrooms with industrial loft feel and original hardwood floors gave it a cool vibe and charm. No restaurant on site but that is fine given the location. No elevator so you are carrying your bags up stairs but the staff are super helpful. Would recommend.

Pros: 1) Great location. You're in the heart of Vancouver, and the atmosphere is vivid and lively. 2) The hotel is very clean and elegant. Cons: 1) The sink sits awkwardly outside the washroom and near the bed where you sleep. This means after you're done finishing your nature's calling, you'd have to get up from the toilet seat, open the washroom's door with your hand (before washing them), and then walk to the sink besides your bed just to wash your hands. Interesting design choice.

The hotel is a good place to stay if you are looking for somewhere central to rest your head. There is no elevator yet so I had to carry my bag to and from my room which wasn't ideal after a long journey. The shower pressure isn't great and the bedding, whilst clean, was pretty cheap (a fluffy blanket inside a sheet rather than an actual duvet). The front desk staff were friendly (other teams weren't as helpful) and it's good to have a no-frills option that is really central but not the place to stay if you want to spend a lot of time in your room.

We stayed in the most basic of rooms. Exactly what was needed for the stay. The linens are super starched. All was very clean. The door bolt wouldn't latch from the inside. The a/c had a loud motorcycle engine periodically but we had one and the window also opened as an option for fresh air. It was noiseless otherwise.

The room was impeccably clean and efficiently appointed, everything you need without cluttering up the space. There was a Kuerig, a small fridge, a small table and chair, and a safe. The shower was very nice. The bed was comfortable. Staff were professional and accommodating. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Be aware that there is no elevator and the flight of stairs is fairly long, but they will carry luggage up for you if would like. The only negative - and its fairly minor - is the noise. Walls are not thick and sound carries through them and under the doors. We would stay here again if we found ourselves back in Vancouver.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were great but the location was very loud at night, especially on weekends. We had to go buy earplugs so that we could sleep on Friday and Saturday night. We did try to switch rooms to one on the back part of the building instead of the room facing out onto Granville Street and the staff were very helpful in trying to accommodate it, but there wasn’t anything available. We were there on Labour Day long weekend, as our Uber driver pointed out, he also told us that last call at the bars in Vancouver is 4 AM. Otherwise, the location was pretty good, convenient for walking the city and close to the water and Granville Island. Personally, I would not stay here again just due to how noisy the area is, but the hotel itself was very nice if you’re OK with that.

There is no elevator!!! The rooms floor was not level. Our suitcase rolled across the room. Our room smelt like fried chicken not sure what restaurant was under us but it vented straight to our room. To top it off the toilet overflowed. No plunger. They came up and we left. When we came back it hadn't been cleaned up they said they thought we checked out but all our stuff was still in the room. We were adviced no not use the toilet anymore- 3 hours till check out.
