The rate was way too high for this low end type of property. The location is convenient for attending events at Roger’s arena.

A convenient and fairly inexpensive place to stay for the night. Since their is no toilet or shower in the rooms, they have two bathrooms on each floor, so my only complaint was they could use another bathroom on each floor. Ours were both full in the morning, and had to go searching for an open one on other floors.

This is a residence as well as hotel. Room are small and only a coffee machine is avaliable. Noise carries. If you just need to sleep snd go, this is you place. Not worth the money i paid

Excellent staff, nice clean bathroom and rooms. good parking.good location BUT, BE CAREFULL!!! When booking with EXPEDIA. NO USD OR CAD MENTIONED. ONLY AT THE BOTTOM IN FINE WRITING, THAT BY DEFAULT CHARGES ARE IN USD. even though i booked in canada, for a canadian hotel. I guess, at my fault, via an american company. LESSON LEARNT. HELP THE LOCAL market and book directly with the hotel.

We liked the fact it is a non profit. Also that it was clean and quiet. We couldn't find the ATM in the lobby ands wished the tv room was open so we could play games in there.

Great location. The negatives were the constantly running fan, if you have noise sensitivities this isn't the place for you. The shower water didn't get hot, only warm. Beds were alright. Impeccably clean, nice staff. Great cause as well.

First time here and have to say was very impressed. Not our usual haunt when we pick hotels but it was close to our venue and worked out fantastically. Staying here again later in the year and look forward to it.

It was my 1st time at this hostel and it was really good. The shared bathroom was very secured. With a button, both door locked. Very quiet neighborhood and friendly employees. I highly recommend.

I would highly recommend anyone stay here . It’s cleanier than any other high dollar hotel you could stay at. We needed suggestions on place to go eat . The staff cleared us to the right street for restaurants. But God blessed us once again. We came up on a salon that was having open house. They invited us in to have all food and drinks we wanted. We was able to hang out with the locals . Enjoy meeting them and then met a couple that was also staying at YWCA and going on cruise. When we got back to room my friend was cold . She went downstairs to get a blanket. Before she could get back up to our room the staff had sent a maintenance man . He turned on the heat for us . He stayed until the room was heated . He told us what temperatures to set it between since it’s not like the USA temperatures. This morning we are going down for coffee in lobby . I went out last night for a minute to pick up my friend sticker. In the lobby there was a room full of young people. Appeared that they had activities for them. You would think with all kids in their it would been loud but know they was having so much fun. The only noise I heard was when I was waiting for the elevator I heard bunch people laughing. When I got on elevator there was bunch young men and women. I told them I heard you laughing now your so quite . Don’t stop because of me I want to party also.So anyone’s that looking for place to stay I wouid definitely recommend staying at YWCA!!!

The complimentary coffee in the lobby was very welcome in the morning as we checked out and set off with our backpacks to walk down to the marina/harbour.
