The pictures of the hotel you see on the web do not do it justice at all. The room was large and beautiful with tons of windows / glass doors opening out to your terrace where you could see the ocean and islands. The food was wonderful and the staff treated you like you were the only guests there and knew you by name. They went out of their way for us. I would love to go back someday. It was paradise.

I was connected to Arvin as my driver at 6799469181 which was a huge benefit to be able to have someone to take me around the island through my whole trip. Beautifully constructed and maintained lodge. Incredible view of the harbor and bay. Steep, unpaved road for about 1/2 km to the lodge. Normal taxis will not take you there so you will have to arrange a 4 wheel drive taxi. If you are reasonably fit you can hike up from the paved road - we did it several times and we are in our 70’s - even hauled up our carry on luggage the first time because we couldn’t get a taxi to take us. Loved the place!

The stay was only for a week but it was very nice and easy. The food is good but what made it great was the meeting of fellow travelers at breakfast and dinner. It is very quiet at night making sleep come easy.
