"Hotel Recoletos was perfectly situated to access every area in Valladolid. It was on a quiet street with open views across a wide road and park.
The hotel itself was spacious, very clean and very quiet. My room was very spacious with tea and coffee making facilities and free water was supplied, daily and kept cold in the minibar.
The staff were extremely helpful and spoke both English and Spanish.
A coffee machine with various coffee types were placed in the comfortable foyer area with to go cups so that you could fill a coffee and go walk-about. This was available until midday. Later water was provided with to-go cups too.
The reception staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.
I had a very comfortable 5 days there."
"Excellent, friendly staff. I couldn't get over the size of the room - particularly compared to the room I stayed in (briefly) in Salamanca.
I should stay that there are building works going on at present designed to enhance the entrance to the hotel. Everything was clearly signposted and did not interrupt my stay. The hotel is already very spacious so I can't imagine what it will be like the works have been completed.
The hotel is situated about a 15 minute walk from the centre of the city, the tapas bars and restaurants. Very easy to get to as the river will be your guide."
"The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Perfect location to walk to Pedro Zorrilla Stadium or to Valladolid City Center. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent."
