"We had a really great stay at Highlands Resort at Verde Ridge overall. The location was perfect — close to Sedona, Cottonwood, and even an easy drive to Phoenix, which made it a great home base for exploring the area. The courtyard and property were beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained.
The amenities honestly exceeded my expectations for the price. Having a kitchenette and pull-out couch made the stay so much easier and more comfortable. I also loved the free laundry, the pool, and especially the adults-only hot tub area. They also offered activities throughout the week, which was a nice touch. The staff was wonderful the entire stay — friendly, helpful, and welcoming.
The only downside was the noise once a family checked into the room above us halfway through our trip. There was a lot of running and stomping starting around 4 AM most mornings, and it was loud enough to hear even with earplugs. That definitely affected the experience.
Aside from that issue, I genuinely loved staying here. I would absolutely consider returning, but next time I’d definitely request a top-floor room."
