“The Hungry Trout Resort is a classic place to stay if you are interested in fishing the Ausable River. Very convenient with private access to the river. The fly shop on premises is excellent with great guides! The Pub was great in years past but is closed now. I really hope it reopens. The upscale restaurant is very nice with great views of the falls. Overall a solid place to stay without the hustle of staying in Lake Placid but close enough to go there for dinner.”

“This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in all my years of travel. When I checked in, the room was not made from the previous guest. There was the previous guest's hair still on the sheets and only one pillow. I ended up getting new sheets from the front and had to change them myself. I did not know Marriot had a self serve service. The room was beside an exit door and we heard it banging all night. Spiders all over the bathroom, the room stunk, the breakfast was terrible and...
