"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Novotel in Les Halles. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and tidy.
Although breakfast was nice and had plenty of selection, just be prepared that whatever time you go down for is that it seemed to be quite chaotic.
But overall we had an enjoyable stay."
"I’m a person who likes to travel frequently and stay in different hotels, but the Hyatt was the worse. I personally recommend stay away from this hotel. Specially for the staff in the from desk, specially.this people didn’t know how to speak with costumer. Impolite, not manners at all, I feel very bad in this hotel and the manager comes later and I nothing happened . At the end for me and my wife was terrible experience, and Once again, don’t go the this place."
"We were put in a first floor room which had a non working thermostat, No power to the desk area so couldn't charge phones, etc, no furniture to put luggage on, and a very high tub which needs a step stool to enter safely.... basically worse than a Motel 6 for many times the cost..... After complaining we were shifted to a much better room... however, the hotel should not be renting rooms like the initial room- it should be demolished and rebuilt!"
"When I originally booked this hotel, I realized within minutes that I had accidentally booked for the date my flight left the U.S. rather than the date I would actually arrive in Paris. Even though I caught the mistake immediately, the hotel refused to let me change the reservation dates. I explained that I would be arriving the following day, and they assured me that this would not be an issue.
Because I had booked the stay months in advance, I followed up again with the hotel several days before my trip — both by email and by phone — to confirm that my room would be held and that I would not be marked as a no-show. I completed every pre-check-in document they sent and gave every possible indication that I would, in fact, be arriving.
Despite all of this, the hotel gave my room away. When I arrived, I was told my reserved room was no longer available, yet I was still charged for the extra night — even though they clearly profited from reselling the room to someone else. They attempted to offer me a replacement room without the view I had specifically paid extra for, along with a complimentary breakfast as compensation. Neither came close to addressing the cost difference, inconvenience, or frustration caused by the situation.
I would never recommend staying here."
"This was a comfortable base for my exploration of the Marais district. Near several metro stations and walkable to everything of interest in the neighborhood. My room was spacious by Paris standards. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. There is a lovely courtyard to sit and have a drink in after dinner. All in all a good stay!"
