"The hotel is classed as 2 star and I guess that's about right, but I stayed in a 4 star the day after my stay at Hotel Blu Aran and immediately wished I could go back. It's honest, clean and the staff are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the kitchen could not provide dinner but the receptionist was wonderful and offered a suggestion in town which was one of the best meals I've ever had. The apartment WS well located in ielha with the Mercadona supermarket a very short walk away as are the old town restaurant and gear shops. I’ve not given 5 stars because the boys found the sofa bed too firm (although after a couple of days skiing it didn’t matter they were so tired), the kitchen had no oven and parking was often a 5-10 minute walk away which seems even further carrying many skis and boots...
