Excellent staffing and property

Very, very nice hotel, spotlessly clean and well appointed suite room. Breakfast was amazing, the location is perfect and the staff is awesome. I've stayed here before and I'll definitely stay here any time I go to Vientiane. Thanks to Ton and Da at the front desk for all of their advice on what to do and where to go!

Good

staff were polite and respectful. easy to navigate. rooms were clean and comfortable.

Hotel was new, opened in early 2017. I was upgraded to a spacious room with a view of the pool. Bathroom was spacious and had both a shower and a tub and separate toilet. Bed was comfortable. Room has a small stocked fridge, coffee maker and safe. Closet had very limited storage space, basically two drawers, which may be adequate for a single traveler for a short stay. There was a linen storage space near the top but only accessible to a very tall person. Hotel was very nice, especially the...

The Lao Poet is a gem. I highly recommend.

This was a great choice for a hotel in Vientiane. It’s tucked off a side street off a busy arterial and you immediately feel calm when entering the property. We arrived late at night and check in was quick and painless. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and was included in our booking. Better than any continental breakfast I’ve had in the states! Very nice and clean with wonderful and helpful staff.

Nice facility and convenient area👍👍

Place felt new, close to the markets, the pool was refreshing. Incredible value for the money.

Prifrssional service and hotel room is great. Would stay again in the future.

Charming property towards the edge of town, designed with rooms around a pretty pool and garden area. Staff were all lovely and very helpful, though only a few spoke much English. Room was comfortable but the furniture was a little shabby. Restaurant was very good. It would help if hotel had a shuttle that could take you to and from the centre of town, but they do have bicycles which we used daily.
