Modern, clean, good vibe and easy check in and out. Bar and coffee shop on site is very pleasant and convenient. Ample parking. Note that it’s located 2 mi from the town of Vik and from the beach. There is a terrific beach view, but you need to drive to walk on it.

For the price, Black beach suites were well worth it! Our favorite accommodation during our 2 week trip in Iceland (as we did the ring road in mid/late June). Perfect location, quiet, and beautiful amenities. Would have stayed longer if our schedule allowed it. The hostel is next door and another good option for solo travelers or those who don’t require apartment/suite like accommodations.

Spacious, comfortable room, modern amenities including Nespresso machine, very clean, very quiet (we were located in a top corner unit, didn’t hear a sound from any neighbors). The views are spectacular from the balcony and it’s away from the town so our stay was peaceful. No lift/elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage. Parking is just outside the building. Everything about this place was excellent. Thank you!

Great location and nice view from the room. All local sights were close by. The bathroom had decent amenities. Housekeeping service was great. Although, we booked for 3 adults, the room had two twin beds and a sofa bed. It felt a little cramped. It would have been nice to have some instructions for the electric stove printed in English.

Large studio, great for families, with a nice kitchen and comfortable beds. Parking right next to the unit, well isolated, modern and clean. Highly recommended area- close to Vik and Dyrholaey (awesome spot for Puffins!), and a very short drive to Black Sand Beach / Reynisdrangar. We also used this location to do a one-day trip to diamond beach and Jokulsarlon, and although it is a long drive, it was doable and we travel with young children. Little expensive, but totally recommended!

This is a beautiful hotel sitting on the side of a vast expanse overlooking a floodplain. The room was spacious and clean. They could have done a better job explaining all of the great additions in the room. The kitchenette was well stocked and we were able to cope a full meal on the induction range. All pots and pans were included along with proper cooking utensils.

There were 4 units to each structure all were on ground level. We were able to back up to our door and unload our luggage straight into the entery. They do ask you to take your shoes off before you enter the main living area. Super comfy beds, great kitchen (no freezer but nice size refrigerator), very quiet, staff was very helpful and friendly, and the views were amazing!! We would definitely stay again for multiple days.
