A run-down hotel. Despite the fact that there were very very very few people in the hotel, we were given a room all the way at the end of a long and dark hallway on the second floor with not much daylight. Room is functional at best. The place borders on creepy. Avoid

paid too much for this (190 a night) for that price not worth it, don’t believe you will ever access the sauna and Jacuzzi it’s basically closed all the time. It must have been great 50 years ago but you can tell they are cutting cost on everything, felt cheap instead of a 4 star hotel. Look around for better options.At 70 a night it makes more sense if you get that deal

Never seen a fan floor in a hotel room before! It is an old hotel though. Comfortable beds. Good pillows. Nice bathroom. I’m not a particular fan of carpets in a room though. Never discovered there was a minibar…. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The locations is unbeatable. Would definitely stay again in this gorgeous city.

Decent, older hotel in Viljandi

Hotel is showing its age. Room had not been well cleaned (dead flies piled up on windowsill between outer and inner windows). Room was uncomfortably hot, even with window open. Fitness center was nice to have. Restaurant was good

Excellent Hotel, Walk Anywhere

Young lady at front desk is wonderful. Very professional, courteous, helpful, warm and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is great. Off the main road but definitely walking distance to everywhere. Cook was sick but they still put on a decent spread for the breakfast - kudos.

Vain toisella yöpyjällä oli yöpöytä ja -valo. Aamiaisella noutopöytä oli monen rappusen takana ja näin jalkavaivaisena se oli huono asia. Ruokapöydät oli liian lähellä toisiaan, liikkuminen oli todella hankalaa. Normaalia teetä ei ollut ssatavilla. Rappukäytävän ovet aukeavat väärään suuntaan, hissille meno jopa kahdestaan on hankalaa, saati sitten kun vastaan tulee muita. Ravintolassa piti olla hotels.com infon perusteella ravintola. Oli kyllä, mutta sieltä sai ainoastaan aamiaisen.koska liikumme huonosti, valitsemme hotellin sen mukaan, että siellä on mahdollista syödä myös illallinen.

Yrittää esittää luxusta, mutta lopputulos nolo

Hintaansa nähden pettymys. Aamiainen toteutettu huolimattomasti: teevesi kylmää, vihannekset leikattu edellisenä päivänä, kananmunien keittoajat muuta kuin kerrottiin. Sauna ei ollut käytössä kuin lauantaina. Hygieniatarvikkeiden määrässä säästeleminen aiheutti meissä asiakkaina lähinnä myötähäpeää. Grand hotelli yritää esittää luksuspaikkaa, mutta lopputulos on lähinnä nolo.

Viljandin Grand oli hyvä hotelli ja se sijaitsi hyvällä paikalla. Pidin sisustuksesta. Sunnuntaina aamiaisella oli kova ruuhka, eri pisteille kertyi pitkiäkin jonoja. Varsinkin kahvikoneen jono oli tuskaisen hidas.

Ilmastointi puuttuu

Grand hotel ei ihan vastaa todellisuutta. Mukava 1930-luvun hotelli, väljät tilat ja huone. Mutta ei ilmastointia, siinä päivittämisen paikka. Onneksi ei ollut hellepäivä.

Grand hotel Viljandi, 1 yö.

Ystävällinen henkilökunta, sisäänkirjautuminen helppo. Huone siisti. Hieman joutui odottelemaan parkkipaikan vapautumista, parkkipaikka kuitenkin loistavalla paikalla, Hotellin sijainti hyvä. Ilmastointi puuttui, onneksi ikkunanan sai yöksi auki, hieman liikennemelua koska huone oli kadun puolella. Aamupala hyvä, ottaen huomioon koronatilanteen aiheuttaman asiakaspaon. Tulemme Viljandin toistekin, viehättävä pikkukaupunki Virossa.

Hotel is old building, and the room is in so so shape. Bed was way too soft for comfortable sleep. Breakfast was good enough.
