This was a beautiful property, not far from the village, extremely classy and well appointed. Amazing head mistress and owner. If ever I am back I'd stay for a few more nights, can't say enough about this Phenomenal place

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful château in the countryside of the Loire Valley. The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. Having come from busy, crowded and loud Paris (which we loved as well), Château de la Giraudière was exactly what we needed next; quiet, fresh air and a small village environment. Our host and owner of this magnificant château put on delicious breakfasts every morning and we also enjoyed an amazing dinner one night. Our room was stunning as was the property including a very elegant pool and lovely terrace. We were thrilled with our stay and hope to return one day!

The property itself was absolutely beautiful, tranquil and relaxing - it was a great place to be for our honeymoon, very romantic. The sounds of nature are everywhere and there’s and easy path to wander to the edge of the property if you want to take a stroll. It was also beautifully furnished and we loved hearing about the family history. Claudine was an incredible host, with no shortage of recommendations & assistance with reservations - as we don't speak much French. Breakfast was a lovely, traditional French breakfast complete with products from the local area. The only shame was that we were only there for one night, we would have loved to have stayed longer and we hope to return!

Lovely chateau

Enjoyed our stay, slightly tempered by the place not having a sign outside; the lane leading to it clearly marked, but the property which is set back, didn't. However it is beautiful and well worth stopping over at. Had a lovely meal (which we pre ordered) in the salon which we had all to ourselves. Good value, a genuine chateau. Extremely peaceful setting, v classy!

Un accueil chaleureux, notre hôtesse Claudine Giordano-Orsini d'une gentillesse et d'un professionnalisme parfait ! Ce château qui date du début de la révolution (1792) appartient à la même famille depuis sa construction. Transformé en maison et table d'hôtes depuis 2 générations, vous y trouverez un calme et une sérénité digne d'une Sologne de jadis. Excellents petits déjeuner, sans parler des vins de Vouvray qui sont une merveille. Une boutique de produits sélectionnés avec soin sont à la vente. Je recommande vivement !

가족이 대대로 지켜온 성이라고 하네요. 숙박하는 동안 귀족 된 것같은 기분이 들었습니다. 청결, 안락함, 주변 경치, 쏟아질 것같은 별빛, 모든게 정말 환상이었습니다. 2층에서 숙박을 했는데, 엘리베이터가 없었지만, 무거운 짐을 기꺼이 올려주고 내려주었습니다. 심지어는 차에 넣어주기까지 했어요. 집 안주인은 베르사유 궁하고도 연관이 있다고 합니다. 다시 머물고 싶은 곳이예요.

Beautiful and very comfortable Château

We spent two nights in this beautiful quiet place close to Chambord and Blois and enjoyed every second of our stay. The service was simply perfect and made our stay even more special, since it allowed us to feel quite at home in a beautiful French Château. Whether to visit the world famous castles of the Loire Valley or just enjoy the peaceful calm and relax, Château de la Giraudière is just the right place. I can't wait to return!

Amazing Chateau

From the first greeting till we left the following morning our host were divine and the Chateau was stunning. We had the whole top floor for our family of 3 and it was exactly what we ordered. We have never stayed in a private Chateau or B&B and it was great. Breakfast was delicious, and came with a great history lesson of the region. highly recommend xx Megan

Lovely French Chateau overnight stay.

We enjoyed an overnight stop on the way home to Calais at the Chateau in a family room with 5 of us. The room was very spacious, one master with a linked room for the children. Nice modern bathroom and we also had access to a movie room, which the children loved! A lovely dinner (on request only at additional cost) in the evening and the break fast was included which was very nice as well with lots of home made food. The owners were both very nice and welcoming.

French countryside experience near Loire Chateaux

Fantastic place to stay in the quiet countryside of France, close to several of the chateaux of the Loire Valley. Wonderful French breakfast in the beautiful dining room. The owners have lived in the area most of their lives; very helpful with any questions you have. They made some great suggestions to us on places to go that we would never have thought about. I would love to go back!
