"The perfect stay! Had all the amenities!"

"Staff were helpful--went out of their way to help me find a pair of glasses. The greenhouse theme makes the place unique with a cozy feel, and the on-site food options as well as the 24/7 store is a superb perk not to be taken for granted in Iceland! Only complaints are a couple of old stains on the bedsheets (minor), and the blackout curtains don't really block the bottom of the window well--however, the easy workaround is to just set the couch cushions up against that area. There is some background sound from the street, but nobody honks horns in Iceland, so this is just white noise, and didn't bother us at all. I would certainly stay again, particularly because of the on-site eating options (saves lots of time!) and strategic location to popular spots (both within the town and beyond)."

"I had a fantastic stay here. The location is stunning, quiet, and surrounded by natural beauty. We arrived just before check in began and the host got us into our room early. The room was pristine, with gorgeous river views and steps away from 2 hot tubs, sauna and a relaxation room. The bed was luxurious, we got the best sleep of our trip here! The amenities were excellent, with Soley toiletry products, complimentary nespresso pods and even a small back porch where I sat and enjoyed the (rare) Icelandic sun. The restaurant was great as well, they had the best Madeira steak sauce and mashed potatoes. Breakfast was excellent as well. If you’re a cat lover, don’t be surprised if you find a friend walk into your room if it’s left open!"

"This is a beautiful hotel very tastefully decorated. It offers spacious rooms with lots of storage, very comfortable beds, and a great shower. The restaurant is top notch with excellent quality food. The included breakfast buffet was the best included breakfast meal I have ever had. It had so many choices and everything was quality and well prepared. If you are looking for a quiet, upscale accommodation, this is it."
