Escape from Paris to Chantilly

Second time staying here. Love the area & all facilities! Good escape from Paris (when it’s too hot as there is an air conditionners) Last time it was cold & raining, so good to see the place in different time of the year.

The structure is new, fully absorbed in the nature. The atmosphere is relaxing and the breakfast was amazing. The staff was polite and prepared. The Spa is maybe too small for the hotel's size and for a 4 starts hotel. Highly recommended.

The hotel was generally nice, but can I please leave a compliment for the person who cleaned room 701 on Saturday 29 June. We stay in hotels quite a bit and normally following the first day rooms aren’t often cleaned to the same standards as on arrival, but this person was exceptional, the level of detail made the room feel as if we’d just arrived. Please management, if you can acknowledge this to the member of staff in question we’d be grateful. Thank you to whomever cleaned room 701 🤗!

The place is beautiful and set-up like a garden; no Hardscape to walk on- long dresses and heels not advised. The birds were singing and perfect flowering gardens everywhere. The pool is truly spectacular, one of my favorite places on the grounds. English travelers must remember French is the first language at this property and only a few people here speak English. Soft close doors are so NEEDED. The noice from the slamming room doors was so loud that my Apple Watch recorded it as loud! Haha I would say just bring eye masks and earplugs and you will be good.

The grounds are beautiful, breakfast was excellent, staff very courteous but the rooms disappoint. We had 2 separate rooms, modern decor and very clean. However they were dark and rather cold. In one rooms the heating unit didn’t work. They have additional radiators but they plug them into sockets that turn off when the lights go off. Someone should warn about this!. We didn’t realized until the next day. The bathrooms don’t have curtains and it’s a big mess when taking a shower, they look outdated compared to the rooms. They were also freezing cold, had leaks from the sink and the toilet didn’t work properly, kept running water. Not the price tag.

Beautiful place but over crowded on weekends

Our stay was overall very nice. The restaurant and breakfast were excellent, and the location was lovely. However, I’d like to share our experience of staying over the weekend. Both the breakfast area and the spa were extremely crowded. Breakfast: I highly recommend going before 9 AM; otherwise, you may find yourself queuing for a table, waiting for plates, and struggling to access the buffet. Spa: Unfortunately, we found the pool water quite cold, which made it less relaxing. Additionally, I suggest visiting during adult-only hours for a more peaceful experience. The biggest issue, however, was the lack of available seating. Throughout our entire time at the spa, we couldn’t find a place to sit because many chairs were occupied by unattended towels. It was unclear whether these spots were actually taken or if people simply left their belongings without consideration for others. This could be better managed to improve the experience for all guests. Overall, the hotel has a lot of great qualities, but managing peak-time crowds could make the stay even better.

Lovely hotel in a nice location for exploring the nearby towns and area. The room was very clean, comfortable and of a very large size. The breakfast was substantial and all very tasty. We also very much enjoyed access to the spa to relax and enjoy a swim. The only one negative was that there was a loud humming noise (sounded like a generator or similar) that could be heard in our room and did wake us up at night. When we queried this with the front desk they said it was due to an issue with the lift (which our room was no where near and the noise was present before and after the lift was 'fixed') and that there was nothing they could do. Otherwise cannot fault our experience and thought it was a lovely stay but we were just unlucky with the room allocation!

Everything was great and we really enjoyed our time there. The only thing that we would like to mention is that the shower in our room was a bit difficult to operate - in the sense that the water temperature was either too warm or too cold and also the shower head was not working without the main shower going off. The rest was great and we would highly recommend to our friends!
