I booked a 3-night stay at this hotel through Expedia using my Capital One card. From the start, things went downhill. I checked in around 7 p.m. and was told there were no king rooms available, even though thatโs what I booked. We settled for two double beds and went to the store after dropping off our things.
When we returned, there was no parking availableโnot in the on-site lot or the overflow garage across the street. We circled for nearly an hour. Eventually, I got out to walk the garage while my girlfriend waited on-site. A staff member told her to park in the double lines (which is illegal), but then another staff member came out and threatened to have us towed.
At that point, I had enough. We checked out around 9:30 p.m.โnever even stayed the night. While checking out, another guest was also complaining about the parking situation.
On my way home from the hotel, I was hit with an unauthorized $376 charge to my debit cardโa card I only used for the 38 dollar resort fee. Iโve tried calling the hotel with no answer and had to open a dispute with my bank to recover those funds. Itโs very unfortunate as I was looking forward to staying there, but I donโt like being threatened to have my car towed. Expedia was also no help, they only offered me key cash.
