โA nice, bright (double aspect windows) apartment in a very quiet close, on the edge of Cambridge.
Clean and fairly well appointed (fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, washing machine, iron and board). No hairdryer as far as I can see. TV and Virgin box. Comfortable bed (I do hate poor mattresses) was a blessing.
I'm sure that before booking it claimed to have parking, because I declined several other properties because they had no parking. However in the confirmation they stated that parking...
โ(Solo traveler) visited cambridge for business trip. You can never go wrong with ibis. It has the essentials. Not overwhelming not underwhelming. Good cafe and shops nearby. Great location. โ
โThe apartment was nice and spacious. However only two towels were provided for 4 people, upon asking for more we received back a message to say there was more in the cupboard unfolded. These towels were dirty with stains on them. The apartment was quite dusty and bathrooms were not the cleanest, the owner of the property explained the cleaners were busy however offered no apology. Upstairs noises all night, and had to shut windows as outside traffic and noise from neighbours. โ
โExcellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge.
Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes.
Would stay again without hesitation.โ
