"Had no communication before check-in. Messaged them and did not hear back. Tried to called but they do not have a WhatsApp so I could not get ahold of them. We were sitting outside with our luggage and I had to contact hotels.com customer service who got ahold of the resident who stays on property to let us in to our room. "DO NOT rent this property, we were there for 15 minutes and left and rented another property. It is not as represented. The AC did not work, there is no washing machine and there is no patio. It is 37 steps up to the apt, and the light in the stairwell turns off half way up, the stairwell is dark and dingy. The beds are old and rickety with old linens. The property manager does not care and won’t issue a refund. The location is fabulous, but not worth the discomfort."

"Wow, the San Giorgio was an amazing experience for my wife and myself. The owner took personal interest in making sure everything was great, had good recommendations, and the food at the hotel was amazing--the flavours of the tomato/mozzarella salad are still dancing around in my mind! Our room was great, and I loved the little terrace outside where we could enjoy a drink in the warm evenings. 5/5, I would definitely recommend (and hope to return again!)"
