Thin walls, but decent accommodation
"Motel-style accommodations. Room was clean, so no issues there. Also, I called the front desk for some items and they were very quick to respond. However, the walls are pretty thin so you can hear a lot of what's happening in adjacent rooms, including whoever might be stomping around in the room ..."

"We went during seasons so many of the amenities were closed or under maintenance. They do charge a resort fee, but the manager was very accommodating and did reverse the fee because of the situation. Management and front desk were very kind and communicative. Great location to skiing and town."

Aug 27, 2019The town looks as if it is coming back after a downturn. Cute coffee shop and restaurants near our hotel. We stopped in Walensburg to sleep on our journey to Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Jul 22, 2019Larger town than we realized but old and run down. Looked like some effort had been made to keep the downtown area in business. Nothing but bars were open when we got there in a Sunday.
