Our stay was very good and comfortable. The one thing that could be better is if the toilet could be higher to help older or disabled guests to arise from toilet.

Very nice place. Check in was not very good. Had to go to the bar area and request the bartender to help. 20 minutes later I had to go ask again as she was to busy visiting with the people at the bar and forgot about me.

The lady that checked me in was amazing and super friendly, but that was the best experience we had there. The waitress at the bar was horrible, we waited for about 15 minutes until she even came over to the table. Placed drinks orders and waited another 15 minutes before they came. Waited again to order our food and when we did order I ordered another drink and waited. The food and drink still hadn't come a half hour later to we left. I have never done anything like that before and I hope to never have to either. Then we were having problems with the TV not working so we found a guy at the front desk who did absolutely nothing to help because he was either so drunk or strung out on something that he could barely talk. He almost knocked the TV on the floor but I caught it before it hit the floor. He took one of the remotes to find batteries for it and never came back. We mentioned it to him in the morning and he laughed it off like he couldn't remember even seeing us. Highly unlikely that we will be back and sad we had to pay that much money in the first place.

Nice place to stay. Bed was comfortable for the most part. Pillows were a tad lumpy & need to be replaced. We were just traveling through. The Galley was good for a nice place to get some rest. Breakfast was underwhelming. We ended up stopping elsewhere to grab something.

The door wouldn't stay shut with the lock. Then I had to use a knife to unstick the door by morning. The bed was uncomfortable and seemed unclean. Travelled for work and this was the closest to the area. Would not recommend staying here.

We had a king room and it was so funky! It looked like it had been used for something else and they converted it - had strange windows that almost looked like a small greenhouse and floor to ceiling curtains to hide it. There was a freestanding R2D2-type air conditioner with an exhaust hose that went out through a hole in the window. The floor made crackling sounds when you walked on it, like it had prior water damage. The mattress - oh my! That should have been replaced about a hundred fat fishermen ago! The bathroom floor was gross and at least 30 years old. Front desk/bartender (double duty) was helpful getting us checked in, but we had to go find her. We ate in the attached restaurant and there was a total of TWO other occupied tables, yet our waitress took for-ev-er to get to us with the check. So unsatisfactory in so many ways! We know there are a lot of sportsmen and women in NE SD this time of year, and this was the only room we could get, but for $139 I expected A LOT more.

Friendly check in staff. Plug in outlets outside for my boat charger was useful and cleaning station behind great for fishermen like me. Attached restaurant and bar was very popular Friday night. It had excellent food and drinks eating there Friday and Saturday night. Highly recommend to people on hunting and fishing trips.

The room was noisy, the mattresses needed to be replaced. Did not use the bar or restaurant can't comment on that. This room was not consistent with what I would consider for the price range. Many of the individual conveniences at normal other similar priced motels not available at this location. Parking and sidewalks not very well cleaned, ice evident on sidewalks. Many other motels available but not listed on Expedia, I don't know why as many available in the local area (within 10 miles) and more reasonable. Would not recommend this location unless you are desperate.
