"The free parking (which was excellent) was confusing. In order to obtain a parking dongle, you had to check in but there was no where to park when you were trying to check in. Also, if you didn't return the parking dongle, you were charged $20 but you can't exit the parking garage without the dongle. Therefore, you have to exit the garage and find somewhere to park so you can return the dongle and finish checking out. They need to come up with a better method of enabling parking access."

Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. Over several hours they never re-contacted us. We’d have to constantly contact them. We were able to figure out the password which was different than the one they had listed."

"Hotel was nice but in need of updates including new mattresses. More outlets to hook up phones and laptops are needed. Had to call desk to report lots of noise at 1:30 in morning. Breakfast was typical of Comfort Suites but more fresh fruits and skim milk would be nice."

"I booked Rocky Gap Resort to celebrate a birthday milestone. Two requirements I was looking for was room service and a spa. Upon check in I was told that room service had been discontinued several months ago, yet it was still offered on the website. When I book spa treatments I enjoy a little pampering. A nice fluffy robe, slippers, and a relaxing atmosphere. While the massage therapist was ok, I went in, had my massage, and walked out. Nothing special. No robe, no lounge area, no offer of a beverage afterwards. The location of the resort is very pretty, but that's it. I think it's more geared to golf. Very disappointed."
