“Outstanding breakfast with fresh squeezed OJ and homemade scones. Full Irish breakfast was lovely. Comfortable lounge with microwave, fridge, and water cooler. Very clean. My only wish was that they would replace their frayed hand towels and noisy bathroom fan. Overall very comfortable with great breakfast . ”

“The beautiful Irish countryside has so much to offer. When this is combined with the love for nature that the host Mary shares with you and staying in one of the shepherds huts all conditions for a perfect stay are there. Guidance to nice walks and places to see are part of the warm welcoming to Blackstairs Shepherds Hut. We enjoyed the quietness, a walk along the river Barrow and having dinner in the nearby town Borris.”
