Excellent service and
This place was such good value for money! The owners were helpful, friendly and cooperative as I made a mistake of booking and not giving any notice to be able to check in. Thank you for all of us :) also beds are mega comfortable and the place was homely! We loved it.

The environment is not so good; it is rather untidy and chaotic; the hotel was exceedingly difficult to find ; everythi g else is acceptable.

These guests frustrations were only because they booked the wrong date and unexpectedly arrived a day early. lucky we had an available room. They were complaining from the time they arrived even though the fault was only due to them booking the wrong night.

Minor Probs but big and cheap
Space-wise its really good! Rate is just as good but we encountered some minor problems during our stay. Dusty house and 1st level bedroom has house spiders. The house has dishwasher but does not have a dishwasher scrub. Electric fans are heavily covered with dust. Staff had very good communication and are very accommodating. Very good staff service.

Hi Michael thankyou for taking the time in submiting a review on this site, it was nice meeting you on you short overnight stay. The minor problems are being addressed. This time of year is quite hot up here in the North it is a common issue where insects enter the house at night when the windows are open. The fan you found is not used it was in a storage room as we have recently had aircondtioning installed. We are just a text or phone call away if you cant find something. Sorry we coudn't provide you with a late checkout as we had other guests arriving and needed to prepare the room.

An Apartment of your own
We organized to meet at corner of street as place is very hard to find. We had four rooms to our selves, Cooking facilities, BBQ, verandah, close to Bay of Islands. 2 hr drive Isolated. (Kiwis pronounce Wh as Th)

The houses are approx 5mins drive to the CBD, in a private spot this is why we meet our guest and let them in and it also saves them from going to the wrong property The Bay of Islands fastest route will take you approx 1 hr is around 65km from the Houses

stille og rolige omgivelser
rigtigt fin placering. meget flink værtinde, vi kom 2 timer før tid, men det var ikke et problem. hun kørte bare herop og gav os nøglen.
Nice meeting you, hope you had a comfortable trip back home and everything was up to your expectations.

Easy drive to many North Land areas such as the Bay of Islands and the Kauri museum.

Good accommodation in quiet location
Despite a mix up over the booking, the owners were very helpful in resolving the issue and our stay was delightful. The houses are in a nice quiet residential area of Whangerei.

Secluded cottage
This cottage was very pleasant and comfortable. The managers were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't find it. But we eventually got hold of them. We met them at the point where the SAT Nav had taken us. The contact details need to be a bit clearer. It was a very quiet area.There were sheep in the next door paddock.

Lovely hosts and nice location.
Nice location and met us at the gate to make sure we arrived safely. Handy to town without being in the middle of the rush. Lovely location.
