Gem of a guest house

Absolutely amazing place to stay, Martyn and Paula are so lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The room was brilliant and Paula's scrambled eggs are to die for. Highly recommend anyone visiting Whitby should stay there.

Great stay

Owners really accommodating, room was spotless, decor was nice (no hiding in 1950 like some b&bs!). Breakfast was brilliant, too.

Lovely last minute find

Really enjoyed our two night stay. Lovely couple who were very friendly and helpful. We loved our room (room 8) the bed was very comfy and the bathroom a good size with lots of shelf space. The breakfast both mornings was perfect. Couldn't resist the homemade scones. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book here again if we fancied a couple nights on Whitby.

Ellie’s Whitby just great

Val and Peter are lovely people they really make you feel very welcome their rooms are beautiful everything matches decorated to a high standard and very very clean,very good breakfast with plenty of variety even Vals home made scones fresh every morning. It was our first time at Ellie’s but we will definitely stay there again hewed visiting Whitby 10 out of 10

Perfect in every way.

Pete and val are wonderful hosts, very friendly; a fantastic range of breakfasts to choose from, qua!ity food; rooms seem to be recently decorated, very clean and welcoming. We would definitely be staying with them again.

Excellent Myself and my partner had a first class stay at Ellie’s guest house Val & Pete gave us a warm welcome on arrival and advised with were to park before showing us to our room which was immaculate and very well decorated the facilities are first class Breakfast was absolutely delicious with the bonus of home made scones. My partner is gluten free but this was not a problem has her needs were well catered for by Val . We had the most relaxing weekend and will be returning in the future excellent place to stay we’ll above average.

Lovely, comfy stay

We had a very warm welcome. Our room was spotless and well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay including quality toiletries, a hairdryer and plentiful tea, coffee & biscuits Breakfasts were very nicely cooked to order - we certainly didn't go hungry!
