Great weekend getaway

Nice, clean room and hotel. Great location. Service was great, and staff very personable. Food was amazing, from a nice breakfast to a fabulous dinner! Would highly recommend!

Coastal cycling trip - leisure

The hotel was very well presented in a scruffy and disappointing town. The quality of the catering at the hotel was exceptional. Some of the best food I’ve eaten in an hotel in a very long time. The menu was imaginative with some nice detail and the delivery exceeded expectations. The town wouldn’t attract me back but I would be prepared to travel some distance to sample the food again.

Cozy room and excellent breakfast

As the name suggests the hotel is a converted Georgian town house. The rooms are well furnished and the restaurant is excellent. I stayed here as my company had its Christmas party in the restaurant. All round excellent but the rooms are all up multiple flights of stairs. No on site parking so you'll need to make alternate attachments.

Outstanding! A beautiful room with fabulous facilities. It felt more like a bedroom than a hotel room. Breakfast was perfect and evening meal menu had olsnty of choice at good prices. Service was excellent throughout the stay.

Lovely hotel would stay again

Lovely hotel & room with nice touches such as milk & some snacks left after a long drive. Not much to see / do in the area and we struggled to find somewhere to eat that evening but the hotel did also have a restaurant. Host was lovely and helpful, only issue was the parking which was a short walk away didn’t feel the most safe.

Great stay

Our room and bed were very comfortable and well equipped. . Plenty of choice of drinks and snacks on the hot drinks tray! The bathroom was luxurious with special touches. Excellent good quality breakfast. We ate at the restaurant and the food was really good. The baked avocado with crab is a must try. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend a stay here.
