The room was spacious, well equipped and clean, but the location and views couldn't be beat !! Being able to simply step outside and walk the beach, or enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the bay was just what we needed. Only wish we had planned to stay longer !

LOVED you could walk out directly to beach. Walked out 5am to see the water. Walked to really good restaurants. The activities on the water were amazing. We are sorry we didn’t plan on more time here. They have kayaks for hotel gueats

Great place

It was our 1st visit to this part of NZ. We were very pleasantly surprised how nice Whitianga was. The longer we stayed, we were wishing we could stay longer. Our host and accommodation were excellent.

Would highly recommended Beachfront Resort. It is right on the beach and the sunrise/sunset is beautiful. The property and room are clean and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again next time we are in New Zealand.

Room was very clean everything worked as it was designed to work. Beach front with a great beach. The lady working there was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They had spades to use at hot water beach and kayaks for the surf. 👍👍

The property is complete value for money. These are 6 appartments all with one queen and 2 single beds. Perfect for small families. Its right at the beach and the backyard is very well maintained with a trampoline and a spa tub & a barbecue area. We stayed 2 nights and have no complaints at all. The morning views were priceless.

It was very clean and well laid out. Looked modern and welcoming, and very spacious. We arrived late, but because we arranged ahead we were able to self check in. The courtyard overlooking the beach is also very nice. The WiFi works well and they also have Netflix which we watched in the evenings. The shower gel provided smells amazing too! My only small complaint is that the room was incredibly hot. Although there's a mini tower fan, it just moves the hot air around. We were on the ground floor so we were able to leave the sliding door open to cool the room down a bit, but at night it was hard to sleep. Also, the soundproofing between the ground and first floor could also be better, as we could hear some actual words from the upstairs guests. On the whole, this seems like a great property for families coming to Whitianga for a beach holiday, but would be awesome for couples if the rooms were more soundproof and had aircon.
