"Had to take a taxi to Hey Lou from a nearby city and the taxi driver had never heard of it. Keep the address handy. I am BY FAR not a world traveler so I needed a little help checking in since it was all self check in. I may have been able to do it myself but I couldn't figure out how to change the self check in screen to English (check-in is supposed to be self-serve only). I did OK at a Burger King kiosk earlier that day so I thought this would be easy. Nein. After watching me struggle with it for 5 minutes or so, a kind staffer came to help me. After that, it was easy. The room could have been a LOT cooler but it was 97°F that day so maybe it was having a hard time catching up? Didn't eat at the restaurant downstairs but I did a fair amount of drinking. Card only, no cash. Good service and reasonable prices. Sad that there were only common German beers available. Their onsite brewery is apparently closed (forever???). Shuttle to the airport was nice and easy to find. I would stay there again, but I need to learn a little German first. Hand signals and pantomime only get you so far in a foreign country."
