Hemmie is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met! He made me feel so at home from day 1. I was on the island for an exam and Hemmie made my stay less stressful by serving delicious breakfast every morning and offering to give me free dinner. He even offered to drive me to and from school, which was a bonus! The place itself is just marvellous! All the antique furnitures made me feel like I was really on vacation. The view is also breathtaking! You go out to the balcony and you see the ocean along with the view of the island. If you want to visit Saba, you have to stay at Selera’s. Not only is Hemmie a wonderful host, the hotel itself is beautiful and so so peaceful!

Staying at Selena Dunia is a very unique experience. Each room is beautifully decorated to reflect the history of the many countries visited, or lived in by the owner. It tells a beautiful story. Also, the location of the property makes one feel like you are hanging out in the clouds. The views from the balcony is phenomenal, the many different species of birds that come by to take a drink in the hanging water feeders, the white rabbits roaming, not to mention the different types of coy fish swimming in the pond surrounding the building. Breakfast is provided, always with a smile, the host is friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to visit again.

Cloud Watching

Wonderful grounds and fountains. Very eco friendly. Was a little concerned about no a/c but the wind and the climate up the mountain was wonderful. We sat on the balcony cloud watching. The owner is very sweet and wonderfully caring. We drove the island with its twists and turns. Friendly! Jobean Glass is great for a class.

Property didn't know I was coming, and then even though I had paid in advance asked me to pay multiple times (and even tried to get Expedia to pay them a second time, which they had resolved by the time I got home).

Yenny and Hemmi are the most amazing hosts we’ve met in a long, long time. They provide a truly boutique experience, more like having a small cottage to ourselves. For anyone looking for a respite, rather than the usual bar / restaurant / crowd & loud scene, Selera Dunia is the perfect spot in Windwardside.

The owner and his wife are very friendly and helpful, they do everything to fulfill individuel wishes, so you feel warm and familiar in this accomodation.

This hotel has the most beautiful and incredible view. The owners wife Mrs. Jenny is such an amazing host, making us feel at home at all times and her daily breakfast she prepared for us was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay at Selera. Henri and Jenny are wonderful hosts that will do anything you make your stay comfortable. We enjoyed chatting with them. They also run a little grocery store next door so you will have access to all fresh food, produce and wine. It is a 10min walk from hotel to town. The room is very comfortable and clean. You will enjoy a beautiful view of the mountain and ocean while having breakfast, lunch or dinner on your private porch. We plan to return!

The property was convenient and I enjoyed my time. The view from the balcony is amazing. The owners are very nice and friendly. There’s a few things that can be improved like the communication. I tried to reach them a few days prior to my arrival to arrange transportation but was only able to speak to them once I got to the hotel. I had to request help from a very nice lady at immigration in the port. Other than that and the hotel not having AC or fans which forced me to sleep with the windows and doors open, having a couple of bugs visit at night, I had a pretty good time there.

Nice Boutique hotel with excellent views

A very comfortable room with large bathroom. Big balcony with astonishing views to the Mount Scenery, Windwardside and airport. On top of it an even better terrace where a very good breakfast was served at the time of your choosing. Nice garden with oriental statues, goldfish, turtles and bunnies. Almost paradise. Wi-Fi worked perfectly and location was very good. Mind you the trip back is quite hard in the beginning, but downward it's only 10 minutes to the restaurants & shops. Foremost the hostess Jenny is a superb helpfull person who makes you feel welcome from the start and helps in everything you need.

Great place to stay

Great location with super service and a wow view. There is some work for a plumber. Taps on sink and shower need to be fixed but definitely a great place to stay!

I loved everything! They are two of my favorite all time people. I would never stay anywhere else than here and I plan to come back. He is a great story teller, she is a great cook and they are both hardworking and respected people. Love them! I stayed there for two nights recently and slept with my doors open, it was soooooo niice!
