The room was clean and adequate, but small and dated by contemporary hotel standards. Parking was a good and a big plus in the area where parking is extremely limited. Shops and restaurants are in easy walking distance. The woman who checked us in recommended Waves for breakfast. It was excellent. We visited the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, about a 10 minute drive. A note about the area. We visited October 5-6 and many of the local businesses had gone to shorter hours and not the hours we found on-line."
