In town for just a weekend, we decided to do the shortest and easiest hike in Adirondack and that was Cascade Mountain. ⛰ At an elevation of around 4000 ft., it offers great views of Lake Placid for a casual hiker. 👟👟 Trip highlight: 🌌Stargazing near a surreal mist covered pond in Tupper Lake area, with wolves 🐺 howling nearby. (I wish I had captured a video but as luck would have it, since it was an impromptu activity, we didn't have the right equipment. No Big Complaints

We stopped on our way through town during a motorcycle trip. The hotel was safe and generally clean, could use some deep cleaning, but nothing was majorly gross. Breakfast in the morning was very sparse, consisting of cereal, bread, and waffles. Maybe just because it was a weekday? Served the purpose for a good price for our one-night stay.
