"Queens Court Inn is in a great location near the pier and lighthouse on St. Simon’s Island. It is walking distance from many good restaurants. The staff was also very friendly. However, the room we had was not quite what we expected. I was aware it was a vintage property, but was disappointed in a few things. Our room was very small, there was a dehumidifier in the room but it did not get rid of the dampness in the room. The towels were clean and soft, but as the humidity in the room increased, the towels became damp. (As did the floor and the linens on the bed). The shower head was loose in the wall with an open hole behind it and the bathroom door would not open or close without a good bit of force. The temperature in the room was fine, but the humidity made the room uncomfortable to sleep in, and while I appreciate the dehumidifier being in the room, it and the vent in the bathroom were both very loud. I would not stay there again unless I had no other option."

"The lobby of the property was very welcoming and clean. I’m not sure what air freshener they were using, but it smelled like a spa! The staff was absolutely wonderful, and Ms. Rhonda was fantastic. We were checking in for a one-night stay; however, there was a large checkout occurring from guests who had been staying at the hotel for approximately three months. Due to a shortage of housekeeping staff, turning over the rooms appeared to be a challenge. Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned properly. The shower was not clean, the toilet had a dark ring in it, and there were a few sticky spots on the floors. Understanding the circumstances, we simply informed the front desk before checking out. Overall, we understand that situations like this can happen, and we would still visit the property again."

"The room was large with a separated bedroom and living area/kitchen. It was clean and well equipped. Everything worked except issues with the motorized window curtains. The staff were pleasant and helpful. the breakfast was average. The location was excellent - within walking distance to the beach and a retail shopping area. The island itself is beautiful and very peaceful ."

"Excellent value. Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor. Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century). Check in staff truly display Southern charm— gracious, efficient, and warmly welcoming. Valet not so much —leaned on desk and just looked at us; no smile, no greeting. Honestly wondered if we’d blundered and he was a guest we’d mistaken as part of hotel staff. Valet or not, we would definitely stay again because it’s such an amazing value for money. Almost same rate as 3 star hotels and motels on island, but you get an enormous room with large windows, 14 foot ceilings and you are 1-5 minute walk from 90% of the historic sites."
