“Recently stayed here and had a very mixed experience. On the positive side, the AC worked wonderfully, and the microwave and fridge functioned perfectly. The pillowcases were also great—nice and clean. However, the rest of the stay was a struggle. The toilet took four flushes to clear, and the bathroom ventilation was completely clogged with dust and didn't work. “The room was quite dirty, the carpet was not clean and the shower was unstable and bouncy. The bed was clean and the parking was really good. Not the most glamorous place but it worked for us, don’t stay here if you want something super nice”

“Clean Room, very friendly staff, lots of breakfast options. Only complaint I guess I had was a VERY strong odor of either some kind of cleaning supply or the newer carpet. I, unfortunately, have a hyper sense of smell and strong odors can trigger headaches. Luckily I did not get one. If it was a cleaning supply, staff might want to consider future guests who also suffer from this”

“Was travelling on Blue Ridge Parkway and spent the day hiking in the Rock Castle Gorge. Floyd is closest town to the Gorge. Hotel Floyd is amazingly modern and clean hotel in a very small and charming hamlet of VA.”
