"Wonderful cabins, great restaurants on site and the most amazing view of the mountains with wildlife spotting in the distance. Would definitely recommend and stay here again."

Geysers erupt on schedule at Old Faithful, while bison roam freely through valleys of steam and rainbow-colored hot springs. Hike the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone in early morning when wildlife is active and rangers know which boardwalks have fewer crowds.
We had an epic day. Oct. 10th we sat at Slough Creek and watched 15 wolves and a grizzly bear. Later we saw a big bull moose beded down. Drove a little farther and scoped up 5 mountain goats, 5 wolves and 2 more grizzlies. EPIC DAY!!

Yellowstone National Park is a magical place. Please don't try to see it all in a day or two. It takes at least 3-4 days to see the major sights.

Yellowstone is a beautiful, unique national park. We were disappointed at the low number of animal's we saw roaming in the park. So plan to enjoy the landscape and hope for a sighting as well.

The signage could improve but we were there right after they opened the roads from snow, therefore some could have been plowed over or still covered in snow.

I'm sure this has been said before but in this age of technology, I find it very strange that The park doesn't have any Wi-Fi. Even the hotel lobby didn't have any Wi-Fi. This is very unusual.
"Vereniz and Derek were very friendly, great check in experience. Helpful to give us information and suggestions as to where to go eat and find live music! Thank you to them for that!!"
"Amazing views from the main building as well as our cabin/room. Service was excellent. Bit more rustic, but worth staying there! Food was excellent in both the 50’s dinner and buffet breakfast in the main dining room. Enjoy!"
"Excellent location within YNP, easy access to Lamar and Hayden valleys. Good dining options at lodge, rooms were clean and comfy and had what you needed. "
"We stayed two nights. The front desk staff (Laura, Patricia & Mgr. Carol were outstanding! They helped us upgrade to a larger bed to ensure our 42 year marriage did not end on their grounds! 😜 The rest of the staff including the wait staff, concierge etc were also of highest caliber. We really enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel! "
"I didn't expect all the comforts of home but we were there to see Yellowstone not sit in a hotel room. The room was adequate for our needs. Clean, AC worked good, instant hot water in the bathroom, plenty of clean towels. I would have liked the towels to be closer to the shower instead of across the room. I shared the room with my 2 grandsons ages 11 and 13 so had to dress in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have a place to set the clothes I was putting on. The room adjoined to my grandson's parent's room so we left the connecting door open most of the time. That was a plus."
"The inn was built in 1903 and opened in 1904. It is absolutely incredible to see what they built at the time. The wood structure is beautiful and it really is a treat to stay there and be able to walk over to Old faithful and all the other geysers and springs. It was a treat to stay one night. I wouldn't stay more than a night but it's great to stay because after 5pm it clears out and at 6am hiking along the trails to see the pools and geysers and seeing a sunset with very few people was a treat. Highly recommended. "
