If you stay here, you are right in the heart of one of the coolest neighborhood's in Yogyakarta. It's like a Javanese Williamsburg Brooklyn or Wicker Park Chicago. You can hear live music each night and you have your choice of all kinds of foods and restaurants. Like coffee? Coffee galore.
Across the street they will do your laundry - same day and if you need a bottle of water there is a Circle K in front of the place.
The interior of the guest house is very, very nice. If you think your room is too basic, just go into the common area and plug in your laptop and do your work. The common area is very cool.
The air conditioner worked fine, the bed was comfy, the shower worked (I only had cold water but it wasn't cold cold it was acceptable) and the toilet flushed. I wanted a budget situation and I got a good one that allowed me to go to Borobudur and Prambanan temples.
