Felt like staying in a portacabin. Being so near to the parking and service entrance of the main building meant that EVERY MORNING my fiancée and I were woken up at 7am by at least 3 different beeping/static-noise making big lorries, complete with loading sounds, crashing bin sounds and made every waking morning a nightmare. Bed was comfy and area was nice.

The Hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good and well organized. The mews room décor was tired and not very well lit. The toilet did not function properly, used glasses were left in the hallway for all of Sunday.

The only thing was the disabled toilet in the hotel lobby it was very small and needed a lot of work doing to it the door was nearly falling off and in my room there was mould on the ceiling that was off putting

The room had some weird spill spots that hadn’t been cleaned and only a little bit of toilet paper. Not enough towels for a double room. Had to call down to get extra bedding and it took 5 phone calls over several hours to finally get them. However , the staff overall was pleasant and kind. And the beds and bathroom were clean. Great location! Beautiful view and atmosphere. Will likely stay again for location.

Good stay central to York

Comfortable family room/suite (57) but it was very cold, lots of heaters in the room but quite noisy and took a while to kick in. All staff very friendly and helpful.
