Needs a lot of work….my bathroom faucet pulled right out of the sink…I had holes in my towels…my pillow cases seemed not washed because they had wrinkles in them…the counters seemed not to be wiped down..the shower faucet looked rusted…the staff was very friendly & accommodating though…

Likes: Pet friendly; nice shower pressure; inside of room was clean and neat but smoke detector was removed and filled with toilet paper. Dislikes: property upon approach appeared to be abandoned; online pictures not consistent with actual property-should be updated to reflect actual current conditions; trash around building and overflowing trash inside facility after checkouts due to limited trash receptacles; unkept exterior of building and outside of building; no grass for pets; ice machine out of order; common area restrooms out of order; had 2 vending machines-snacks and sodas; common area microwave only.

We checked in and out within 5 minutes of our arrival. The motel looked abandoned. Part of the motel was not in use which had broken windows and weeds growing everywhere. The one wing in use was for long-term workers, which was also run down. The rooms had broken/missing windows and screens. The photos online do not reflect the condition of this motel. We felt too unsafe to stay. The woman at the desk told us we would be receiving a refund from the 3rd party - Expedia, which has never happened. There were quite a few motel in York, NE. We ended up staying at the Days Inn, which I would recommend. Beyond disappointed.

The staff were respectful and friendly. The location is very quiet and peaceful, the staff directed me to a nearby restaurant when I asked them and they had great good there. I was also surprised by the rate they charge for their lodging. Very cheap and affordable. I will highly recommend them to any travelers traveling towards that direction or destination.

I liked the two young people who showed up at the front desk. They were very helpful, even though I showed up at 11pm. My bathroom had no toilet paper in it. The whole floor in my room was sticky. The hallway floor was dirty. Actually, I think the whole place could use a good cleaning.

It's ok but I probably won't stay again.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Pics showed a frig but there wasn't a frig in the room. Ice machine was out of service. There was a mophead and a bar of soap in the hallway for over 36 hrs.

We were surprised when we pulled into the parking lot. It looked abandoned, but we went in the main entrance to check in. The lady was friendly, so we proceeded. Passed the ice dispenser which was out of order. Went to the room and saw a roach go behind the mirror. A dead one was on the chair. The toilet was dirty, and a plunger was sitting in front of it. There were no towels, and there was an empty soap package from the previous guest on the tub. There was a dirty rag balled up by the sink. We promptly gathered our things and headed back out the door. We were told we would not be charged for the rooms and would be refunded. I could not reach anyone from Expedia through the chat although I tried several times before asking for a refund from the man at the motel counter.

I'm not sure I've felt this uncomfortable, but I was exhausted so I kept the reservation. They are not caring for this hotel. I've stayed at dozens of Motel 6s, and found them to be clean, safe and reliable. That was not the case this time.

It was exactly what you would expect at a motel 6. The room is clean, the bed was actually pretty good, only complaint was no hot water so no shower in the morning, but no complaints other than that.

Well, one towel for 2, had to get another. Water didn't run in sink, told manager but didn't fix. Nice bed. Ice machine wasn't working and they had no other ice. Floor covering was peeling. Nice hot shower.

While you can't beat the price, the property is just in quite poor condition. The room did not have any of the cheery colors shown in the photos and, while everything basically worked, everything was in rough shape. The water for the shower was hot with good pressure, though.

The staff were friendly both times I had issues. However, the hallways looked like they haven't been cleaned/vacuumed in weeks, as did the room. Corners were filled with dirt, crumbs, and dust. The bedding and towels did look clean however. Side doors were not secure (were not locked) and the exterior looked very diminished.

Don't Stay in Room #115

I had stayed at this Motel 6, Christmas of 2022, with no problems. This time, the wash cloth was hanging dirty on the door knob. The sleeping are smelled clean. I had a refreshing, comfortable sleep in the bed. When i went to use the restroom, there was a hole in the floor, water in the bathtub, and the exhaust fan was hanging down from the ceiling. I relayed this information to the desk clerk with understanding that a refund would be forthcoming. I never received one.

Quiet and friendly

Customer service was good, and the guy was nice, however i was charged on line, then charged at the hotel. Customer service guy said i needed to get a refund from online, so i suppose thats what ill need to do. The room was not clean, floor was dirty and there was trash under the bed. The shower wasn't clean either, I had to clean it myself to feel like i wasn't going to catch fungus foot. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable, so i slept well. I guess thats the whole purpose for a night at a hotel is to rest.

Save your money.

When you walked into the hotel it was dirty had a musty smell. Had to ring a bell to get service. Got my room key and went to scope out my room. The first thing i noticed was the broken ice machine and over flowing garbage can. I turned the corn for my room there were stacks of dirty linen and towels in the hallway. I went into my room it smelled like pine sol was pretty clean. Had to get help getting the TV to turn on, never got the remote to actually work. Get my stuff from my car and went back to my room. After about 4 hours of being there decided to go get something to eat. The dirty linens and towels still in the hallway but now there was more around the corner.

Meh.

I’ll start by saying I booked the cheapest room I could find. Did I have hot water, clean towels, a microwave and a fridge? Yes! Did I also have a used washcloth left in the shower, grime, sticky floors, a poopy toilet bowl and a courtyard full of debris? Yes! The room smelled so strongly of cheap cleaner that I slept with the window open on a cold November night just so I could breathe. It’s obvious that they clean because I can smell overwhelming cleaner, but the place was super grimy. The halls were cluttered with decommissioned furniture, vacuum cleaners, etc. like. . . . these items weren’t in use, they were just chillin in walkways. Bizarre! I am certain the hotel will copy and paste me a generic response, and that’s ok! I still say book the place. It’s got a bed. It’s got hot water. It’s a place to charge your phone. Put the money you save into your gas fund and get back on the road in the morning.

I honestly saw the other reviews and thought maybe they could have addressed the concerns. But I stayed there over a week ago and the first thing was the place looked old and worn from the outside. Okay not a problem as long as it is clean and secure for a night sleep. I was disappointed the moment I walked in and I looked down the hallway from the checkin desk and could see the side door wide open. I asked if that door is shut to give security but was answered with no it is always open because it is broken from a storm. It didn’t seem like the storm happened recently. All throughout the halls was dirty things and then I got to the room. The door key did not work right away I even thought I might have to shove the door to open. After multiple tries it open. The room was not horrible. I didn’t think the shower was clean so I didn’t use it but the bed and sheets were clean that I could sleep in the room. There was no strong odors. I would not stay a second time.
