Simply a very smart, friendly and well appointed hotel with big clean and cool rooms. Lovely pool and bar area with easy access to shops, cafes, restaurants and all the sites.

Nice area close to amenities, basic service but nothing particularly bad. They don't clean rooms daily which isn't the best but okay for short stay. Average hotel no problems would recommend for a quick cheap stay

Clean, friendly and peaceful in old Stone Town

Great staff, very clean room, well presented TV didn't work - only 1 Arabic channel Location - was not aware that could not get a car up to the premises and had to walk (not an issue in itself but would have been if I was with a suitcase & 1 or 2 other bags) as it is in the heart of the old town streets

this hotel is amazing especially considering the cost. my initial hotel was cancelled on me at the last minute. thank heavens for that. this place is clean, close to amenities and extremely comfortable. we loved the bed. Food: the dinner was great. we only ate it once but the chef is amazing. we enjoyed the dinner. The breakfast on the other hand was just normal. we really did not enjoy it much but it was good enough. Bed: its no easy to find a comfy bed when travelling and this had just that. a comfy room and bed. Premesis: the the rooms, courtyard, restaurant area and pool are kept clean at all times. overall, this place is worth booking. we loved it.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. It is a short walk to the Forodhani Gardens and the former Slave Market. There are several restaurants closeby especially a very popular one Lukmaan. The area around the hotel is bustling in the day and quiet at night. A taxi cannot drive up to this property so you will to do a short walk through the streets to get there. The staff were friendly and always greeted us. They were helpful when we called for assistance with anything we needed to clarify with the room. The room was very clean and maintained throughout the day. The bathroom and bedding were clean. The common areas for breakfast and by the pool were also clean. Any messes in the common areas were cleaned promptly. The bed is a firm mattress but it was comfortable. The room was quiet at night and during the day we could only hear the fountain in the main area faintly. The wifi connection was strong while we were on the premises. The breakfast was delicious offering a variety of options that changed daily. It included meat, cooked vegetables, fresh fruit, local pastries as well as coffee and tea. They prepare eggs to your liking upon request. The pool is a decent size and calm. It has a short shallow end then becomes quite deep. Beware that there is no indication of how deep it at actually is. Overall, I think the price was fair for the quality of the stay. We had an enjoyable stay at Antonio Garden Hotel and would recommend this hotel for your stay in Zanzibar.

Das WiFi ist instabil, man muss sich oft neu einloggen und es kommt des Öfteren die Fehlermeldung, dass zu viele Geräte angemeldet sind. Wir benutzten zu diesem Zeitpunkt 1 Gerät, das 2. Gerät konnte nicht angemeldet werden. Der Check In war sehr unkoordiniert. Eine 2. Keycard wurde nicht ausgestellt und auch auf Nachfrage nicht ausgegeben. Man hat beim Check In nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass es notwendig ist einen Schalter zu betätigen um warmes Wasser nutzen zu können. Erfuhren haben wir dies durch andere Gäste. Frühstücksangebot überschaubar, aber ausreichend. Cleaning- und Restaurantpersonal sehr zuvorkommend und hilsbereit im Gegensatz zum Personal der Rezeption. Handtücher gab es nur 2 große im Zimmer, gewechselt wurden diese innerhalb von 3 Tagen nicht. Late Check Out war gegen Gebühr möglich, was positiv hervorzuheben ist. Kreditkartenzahlung war nur auf Drängen möglich, die Rezeption hätte es lieber in bar gehabt - mit dem Hinweis zum nächsten Geldautomaten.Das Gerät ist aber vorhanden und kann auch genutzt werden, die Zahlung war möglich. Der Geräuschpegel innerhalb der Umgebung ist hoch, dies liegt aber an der Lage des Hotels.

Hôtel propre et charmant

Personnel accueillant et serviable du début à la fin (j’ai fait une nuit)je m’y suis senti bien et en sécurité à l’intérieur. On ne peut pas y accéder par voiture il faut marcher un tout petit peu. La chambre était propre il n’y avait pas de saleté ni de bêtes. Le personnel repasse dans la chambre l’après midi pour remettre un coup d’anti moustique. Petit dej ok avec fruits omelette et qques specialites. J’ai pas testé la piscine. J’y retournerai sûrement.
