"Excellent location in Lapa. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and clubs both right next door and all along the next couple of blocks. But be careful, the availability of the local live music means that if your room faces the street it can be very LOUD, even with the windows closed. Don’t miss out on the samba, but make sure you bring earplugs to sleep! The staff are wonderful, very attentive. I lost a necklace behind the safe and they made sure to recover it for me promptly. The kitchenette is very helpful. The fridge is huge and there’s a functioning microwave. Pots, pans, and utensils are provided but no seasonings or cooking oil. If you’re going to use the kitchenette make sure you buy salt and pepper! Overall an excellent stay, wonderful location. I would be back in a heartbeat."
