Denarau Island 2 Stars Hotels

"We loved the layout of property, there is so much space. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Towels were provided for swimming and for showering. Some of the negative aspects can't be helped - such as the fact that there is a resort on either side of the house. So that does mean you're in view of those guests when outside using the pool - and some guests are crass! One of the resorts is still under construction (August 2023) so the noise from that did hinder out enjoyment. However...

"This was by far the best part of my trip, staying here. The food was great, the hostel rooms were clean and comfortable. The 5 bedroom door had great air con to keep it cool at night. Lots of local trips close by. Would go back :)"

"This hotel is a good buget hotel that is well priced and clean. It has a small number of meals and drinks available at its small attached restaurant if needed and the staff were able to organise a taxi to the airport for us. It has a pool as well although we only stayed one night so didn’t use it."

"We stayed at the Travellers Beach Resort Hostel for two nights in early March. Our stay was very enjoyable and met people from all over the world. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly. Improvements and updates could be be made, but we would recommend it when in Fiji."

"This place was very disappointing. It has the air of a place going out of business. The staff didn't seem to care about the condition of it, and there was a charge for absolutely everything. For a surf camp it was surprising that there was no beach or area to surf by the property. They also didn't seem to be keen to teach surfing it's only for established surfers, which then have to pay $50 a day to surf. The property itself was the biggest let down. "We found the room to be huge, and it had 2 double beds and a single bed, with a kitchen and sitting area. There was a kettle and electric frying pan, but there were only a few utensils, and few dishes. We had breakfast included. The first morning was in the restaurant, which was fried eggs and toast, juice, and fruit the first day. The second day was toast and porridge delivered to our room.
