"Hotels.com should take a more active role to ensure reservation is confirmed especially when the booking is done on the same day when staying overnight on the same day. Worse thing hotels.com can say no refund can be given as it is non refundable and subject to the hotel approval. It was at the very same hotel which I was sitting for one hour and not allowed to go. Will I get any kind of compensation? Nothing. Nothing to appease me. Hotels.com is not the only one. I will venture out for...

"I have to wait for half an hour for the 50 ringgit deposit receipt. It seems that the counter man not willing to issue receipt. I was given a room with no window like a prison cell. The hotel room tag n blanket still with the name Princetan. Apart from these 3 issues, the hotel is generally well maintained."

"Shower heater casing not properly installed, wires were exposed. No lift. Toilet not able to flush. No security and car needed to park in darkside"

"Breakfast was served tucked away in another building that we had to cross a carpark with construction going on to reach. Furthermore it is un-sheltered and raining so it is difficult to access and got stuck when it poured very heavy and there are no umbrellas to loan to send us back to the hotel building. No lift in the basement of the carpark. "

"Staff is very friendly & helpful thoughout our stay from 7-10 Mar, room 103 & room 106. When checking in on 7 Mar around 2.55pm, a lady staff / receptionist was very honest to return me the extra RM$200 I over paid. I wish I got her name. Pl thank her again!!"
