Salzkammergut 2 Stars Hotels

"I’ll be honest - we wouldn’t have chosen to stay but the marathon was on and the city was v busy. Our first hostel experience was good, staff were great - really friendly and helpful, breakfast was fine, the place was clean and bright with a real diverse mix of ages of guest ( we are 50s). Walking into town was easy and quick. Room was en suite and basic but fine- worst but was the waterproof mattress covers and pigeon noise from the courtyard. "

"The people at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. We could leave our luggage at the hotel after we checked out so we could do tourist stuff, then pick it up later in the afternoon when we were ready to leave town. "

"Perfectly good for what we needed. Conveniently located by the train station. Our room was actually an apartment which provided lots of space for three adults. Everything was in walking distance and easy to navigate. Very quote area. Breakfast was very good and very affordable. I would stay here again. I was very happy with these accomodations."

"No frills hotel (marketed as a hostel, but I had a single room with private bathroom). Other than having no TV, room was fine. Within walking distance (along riverbank) to old town."

"The breakfast was top rate, very nicely decorated area, the food was all fresh and tasty. Well done hospitality. THe room was a bit cold, but i realize it was first week of cool weather, and maybe furnace wasn't at full steam yet. But the staff was friendly, the town is very picturesque, i would surely go back to this place."

"El hostel este bien si vas en grupo, pero no más. No está tan cerca de hallstatt si es para lo que lo vas a usar. Mi cama tenía olor a humo de cigarrillo o un olor así, después tiene dos baños uno que tiene ducha y baño junto y otro q tiene dos baños y dos duchas, pero no tiene dónde dejar la ropa, si salís. De la ducha y alguien más entra al baño, bueno te ven todo, no es muy práctico si sos hombre y entra una mujero o viceversa. Y después se cobro una supuesta tasa turística de 2.5€ pero no se...
