Salzkammergut 2 Stars Hotels

"Cheap and convenient, especially if you need quick access to the Airport. Don’t expect too much."

"Very nice staff. Great Greek restaurant nearby. "

"Quiet ,clean, value for money considering the location"

"The room we stayed in was wonderful! very clean and convenient for our family "

"We thoroughly enjoyed Pension Ballwein’s convenient location, beautiful setting, and excellent amenities. Thank you, Daniela and Simon for a wonderful stay."

"Easy access via owner instructions."

"I was lucky to stay here when the temperature dips below 20 at night so every bit of warmth was appreciated. There was a fan that still worked non-stop to offset the heat produced by four people during the day. Transportation into the town was very convenient with bus stops for 1 and 10 within a few minutes’ walk. The lounge outside the rooms was spacious for eating. Water pressure was great and showers were hot."

"The facilities were clean (toilets, showers). Simple to check in and out. Note that the hostel is on top of the hill. So each time you would have to climb up and down the Monchsberg. Some areas of improvement or things to take note: 1. Since it’s next to a nature reserve, there are bugs in the room and your bed if you open the windows. Perhaps bring some bug nets to place over the window. 2. The temperature controls were not working and there was no fan in the room. Two of the three nights...

"Decently clean room, very helpful staff and very easy check in. 😊"

"Everything was pleasant and clean!"

"Die Aussicht war sehr schön .Leider hatten wir regen, konnten leider durch die Plastikfolie nichts sehen, da diese beschlagen war. Damit macht das Bubble Tent Hotel keinen Sinn für mich. Klimaanlage war auch sehr laut. Das Restaurant in 300meter Entfernung hatte leider auch geschlossen."

"Booked it last second. I got the check in information right away and got in a couple hours later. Super spacious with two big bedrooms is hard to beat. Right next to the railway cog that takes you up the mountain which is so cool! And you can hear the stream from inside. Great deck too. Grateful for my stay!"
