"100 yr old hotel with updated furnishings, bathrooms, and elevator. Not so good...very small rooms. One stay was a room with a queen bed and a dbl bed and my luggage had to set on the unused bed & care taken to walk to the bathroom without clipping an ankle on the bed frame. The other stay had a double bed, no chair and no space to open baggage except on the unused half of the bed. "

"The hotel and staff were very nice. It’s in a great location for downtown and you can also easily walk to the fair grounds. They provide you with pots, dishes and a stove top. We did have a problem with the bathroom in one room not working. The staff did their best to fix it, but going to a Beer Festival with no working bathroom was quickly a problem. We had to go down to the lobby to every time. I was originally told I would get $20 off my $518 bill, then was promised $60 and in the end my...

"I had to stay the night so I could get to Annette island on Monday. The only thing they could improve on is having a free breakfast. The room was great. Clean, dry, and warm. And the staff was /is more than accommodating. The let me check in early as my flight got in around 11 am. Good value for my money"
