"If you like antique collections, they got some exotic items. The front office people are very nice, courteous, and very engaging. The restaurant upstairs is decent. I didn't want to step out for dinner after a hectic sightseeing day and the upstairs restaurant came to the rescue. I will say you will get more bang for the buck. "

"We did not stay at the hotel. It was dirty smelly and the entrance to the hotel was lined with poo. In The room the waste bin had spit and dirt and muck on it. The sheets were dirty. "The Kotra Haveli in Udaipur is in a fantastic location, very close to the Jagdish Temple and Lake Pichola. It provides a calm, clean, safe haven, in the heart of the tourist area and shopping side streets. The restaurant and roof top seating area has amazing views of the City Palace. Breakfast offers a variety of Continental or Indian styles. The Lunch and Dinner menu is great too. The Hotel Manager is very helpful, as is all the Hotel Staff. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Udaipur."

"Great stay, many thanks to the owner of the hotel. He was great during check-in when he showed us his map and prepared itinerary that made the sightseeing sooo much easier, detailing anything you might want to see or get (ATM) along the way. He had different itinerarys depending on how many day's you had to spend in the local area. He was also a great help when our flight got cancelled just as we were about to get a taxi to the airport. He helped us figure out a new route and get a taxi that wasn't trying to charge us double. Our room was still available so we checked back in. With his help our crisis was resolved within half an hour and we were back out sightseeing for the rest of the day. Thank you so much would definitely stay again and the view from the roof top of the lake was incredible, just what you want from a visit to Udaipur "
